Such is life, experiences had, lessons learnt, we move on.
I have been told a number of times that I’m what they consider an idealist. A person who base reality on his/her own perceptions. A dreamed world of perfection and what things ought to be. Perhaps that is why I find myself in the most precarious of situations? Ones that tamper with one’s heart, soul and mind? I must admit, I am that sought of person who sees the best in people which often leave me disappointed. Maybe as time passes, these experiences will render me a stronger person. A person with a matured understanding of how reality really is and not how it should be under rose-tinted glasses. People are never perfect and happiness should never depend on people for they will forever disappoint. To find true happiness, one must be content with one’s own-self.
